Actually its Czech.  Whole different deal.  They were/are master gun manufacturers.   Hitler inherited the Skoda works when he took over the country in 1938 - didn't they make a lot of the 98 Mausers?

Anyway, this bike should be at least as fast as a Guzzi.   Bigsmile

They should get further subsidies from the tire companies.

Not more as far as quantity goes... I read where they will be testing it this year, and they plan to build and sell 6 (SIX) in 2012.... Better get on the list pretty quick if you want one.. lol

500+ pounds... looks alot like a Ducati Devil... don't it?

A V6 with monster power.  Too much if you ask me, but I know you didn't and won't.  Not a bad effort at all in the looks department.  In fact, I quite like it.  Sort of a cross between a Speed Triple, a Tuono, and the new MV Augusta with them exhaust pipes and a little Ducati Monster with the trellis frame.  In short, a rip-off of a lot of different bikes, but the sum of the parts is pleasing to me.  Interesting swingarm.

Too bad the tail's too short.  I hate that.  Can't throw panniers over the back or a tail bag.  Deal killer.  Still prefer underseat exhaust, single-sided swingarm, and centerstand, but this doesn't look like that kind of bike.  Different target audience.

Who would?  Oh, right--the same guys who buy Boss Hoss's, because, ya know, there's no replacement for displacement!

This thing is overkill in a big way, and--not being an actor with an inferiority complex--I have absolutely do desire to own one.

OK, is this a sport tourer?
I would say not a sport tourer.  More of hooligan/naked kind of street fighter, but with a windscreen---maybe a class all its own?  You've got to have a larger back seat for either luggage or a passenger or something.  There's NOTHING in the back.  You'd be limited to a backpack, a tank bag, or tank panniers for carrying shit...and that's enough for some people, I guess.

I'll tell you one thing they got right.  You see the way the oil sump sticks down and the oil filter is accessible?  It's good the oil filter is accessible, but that oil sump...hmmmmm.  Now, Moto Guzzi does that with the oil sump, but they don't cover it up and it looks a bit dumb sticking out there, sort of a refrigerator-like appliance that has fallen out of the engine.  It's a big block hanging down that looks like it doesn't belong there.  Other than that I like Guzzi's.  But Guzzi never remedied this blocky-lookin' thing and this bike seems to have integrated it into the rest of the bike's lines with the belly pan.  Good move. Thumbsup

It's a bike built around a 2.4L V6 and you guys are questioning its practicality? Headscratch  Lol

My question wasn't serious, but your analysis is correct anyway.

Some Guzzis didn't even have an oil filter until the early-mid 70's and then they put the damn thing in the pan.  Even then they were known to come off.  Just getting them to put it somewhere accessible was an improvement.
