For Moto Guzzi owners' eyes only. If you're not a Moto Guzzi owner, please exit this thread

First pictures released of Moto Guzzi's top secret test facilities hidden deep inside the mountain behind the factory

Note the final paragraph; Moto Guzzi's wind tunnel is just one of the many research items in the quest for speed and superiority.

Guzzi may of pulled out of racing the year I was born but before and for the decade after WWII they were among the most innovative factories in GP. While most people have heard of the V8 It was machines like the 120 degree 'Bicylindrica' that showed the true genius of their design team.

The wind tunnel was originally powered by a Piaggio radial aircraft engine before being later changed to electric operation. While it is easy to scoff now at the pictures of the machines the fact is that at the time the technology was cutting edge. Even when cash strapped Guzzi have always been inovators. Which manufacturer was it that first used and changed exclusively to fuel injection on their motorcycles?....................................... ........................
