If you're anywhere near Richards, TX, and ready to call it a day, then ya may want to consider stopover at the Mexican Hill Ranch just outside town.

Ernie and Doris have built several cabins and a "community" house.  Quite a place!!

Here's some pics of the community house.

Richards??  I had to recheck that.  That's a real nothing of a town, I ride thru there all the time on the way to the "Tail of the Kitty" a.k.a. FM 3090, the only "twisty" road around here short of the Hill Country.  You'd have to be lost to end your day in Richards  Lol

That said, it does look interesting, seems they have some festivals of sorts during the year.   How on earth did you find it?  I've never seen it.

cool, but a little overboard on the brand specific stuff.

Was thinking the exact same thing.  Not sure I could rest my head on a Harley Davidson pillow case...  lol

"Check point Harley" by "Appointment Only" with wafer board interiors mmmmmm, I'm thinking not the kind of place my quiet rice burner would be welcome.Or the kind of place I would pay to stay!

I don't care about the Harley stuff, I just don't want to lay my head next to a dead Javalina. I appreciate their effort though.
