Question for Busa owners: SW Motech/Ventura Compatability?

Just picked up an '06 Busa and I'm looking at the SW Motech racks for side cases.  I'm wondering if anyone knows if they are compatible with the Ventura bike rack.  I think it would be a versatile combination if it would work...

Anyone tried it??

My gut says both are designed to use the stock mounting points (tie downs and grab rail), and since they are not the same company I highly doubt they will play nice together. You can probably get a PDF of each's directions from their respective sites and get a better idea though.

I was able to find a .pdf for the Motech racks, but not for the Ventura.  From pics, it looks as if both make use of the front "frankenstein" bolt, but the Motech appears to have a spacer that might be about the same size as the front of the Ventura rack...???

Just wondering if anyone had actually tried it?

The spacer is actually recessed to fill the space in the hole.. but like I said, I have not tried it, but looking at each item I'd be extremely surprised if they would work together. I can tell from the pictures on the Ventura website that it mounts the same way as the swmotech racks do.
