Are you going to fill those fairing holes with anything?  What makes it so much better?

A good friend of mine bought one of these for his wife. It's an amazing little bike.  Thumbsup

A lot of guys complained about the height and width of the view with the stock mirrors on early models. These apparently enable taller guys to see over their forearms and shoulders.

I have a 2009 and I'm only 5'10", I have no real issue with the stock mirrors.

Stock holes are plugged with some leftover bolts (fairing? airbox plastics? not sure) with rubber bushings.

These are R1200R mirrors. I had to replace the top mounting clamps on the controls with ones from the GS version of the bike.

I'm pretty long in the torso, and after three years my stock mirrors were droopy (the design is better in the '09s).  My main issue was having to dip my head so much to look into the stock mirrors. One night in December I was doing just that on the freeway riding home and barely missed running over some tire chains.
