The sun felt warm today for the first time in a long time so I dug out the KTM and went for a putt up the street and back. Never a great idea but I kinda had too. Did not crash ... well, not completely Lol.  Light layer of snow over ice is not very inspiring. What is inspiring though is the sound of the KTM and snow melting on a beautiful day.

Had to share ... gonna go sit in the sun with a beer ... ok ... and a toque   ....  smells like spring !!!

-42C with windchill this morning. More snow to shovel. No signs of Spring anywhere. This winter is driving me insane. More insane than usual, that is.

"Signs of Spring"

...sigh... none whatsoever. Sad

It is hard to capture snowflakes in a picture, but you get the idea.

I think I'll install the bar risers on my WR250X this afternoon.  Three weeks 'til Moab, three weeks 'til Moab, three weeks 'til Moab,...

Yeah, sweet 'Moggie, though I don't think I've ever seen one with a "double" wheelbase.  Thumbsup

The Maple Leafs are making their dramatic, though annually futile run at the Cup playoffs!!
That means they'll be trading in their hockey sticks for golf sticks any time now!!!

Well Jim, you'll be happy to know that ol Mother Earth is finally getting back at all us 'Lotus Land Livers' for all our easy living. It has been and continues to be freezing, frozen and just plain unVictorialike. Even the Daffodil fields are on hold.  Thumbsdown

Spring is right around the corner.

Yea right!

Here's from Saturday morning (Feb 26) when I got up.  The snowblower sleeps in the blue mini-barn.

After spending more than two hours cleaning this is what the driveway looked like.

To make things a little bit more interesting it is snowing as I am writing this.

If this keeps up I'll ride in July if I'm lucky.   EEK!
