Congrats - nice find.  It reminds me of the Matte Khaki S3 available in the UK for 2010.

Update time!

Despite verbally accepting my offer (I was quite literally just waiting on weather to go pick it up), the PO decided to go ahead and sell the bike from under me.

I'm not local to him, so I understand his position, but still.  Warning would've been nice.

Alas, the search continues.

That's frustrating.  There are several people on this board who would be willing to part with their Speedies, in case you're still interested!

I am very interested, but distance is a bit of an issue.  I am considering finding a deal on something new-old stock, like an '08 or '09.  I'm hoping they'll be a bit cheaper with the redesign.  I really like the red and white 2010 SE version, too.

Bummer, Scott, but maybe you will find an even better one now.

Now that the mods have moved your thread to Triumph, I suppose you are pigeon-holed into getting one next.

Well, I think Rince must have put some sort of unholy blessing on me, because i rode my new S3 home yesterday morning.  It's a 2007, black, with almost nothing done to it save a tailpack and that Triumph carbon tank pad, with just a shade under 4K miles on it.  I have already ordered some new parts...  Lol

I'll post up some pics after I get a chance to bust out the hose and soap.
