Okay, I've been searching for info on hard luggage for the big block Brevas. It looks like Hepco & Becker and Guzzi for side cases and Guzzi and Givi for trunks/top cases.

Are there any other options that don't require custom fabrication? Are there any mounting systems that will accept the Krauser K-Wing system such as the K5 cases?

Somehow I knew even before the picture came up that I would be seeing a yellow duffle bag strapped on the back of the seat.   Bigsmile

Thanks. That would save me a bundle. And, maybe I could make a flyscreen out of cardboard and duct tape!

There you go!
Unfortunately, that particular duffle won't save you too much.  (Ortlieb is very proud of their products)

I went with the Guzzi bags for two reasons, the mounting system looks really good when the bags are off with no metal frame hanging down the sides and the keys are the same as the ignition key.

SO far, 8 1/2 months and 9700 miles later, with a few multiday trips out of state, I really have no complaints with them.  Only thing is they close and seal much better if I spray a little silicone on the gasket once every few weeks (Said to do that in the manual IIRC).

Well I've got the same bags on my Breva and hate them. The bike does look good without the bags though. The Aprilla bags that come on the Norge/Breva are crap compared to the Hepco/Becker bags. That's what I will be  installing as soon as the mounting hardware gets here. Already have the bags (Guzzi EV) so it was a no brainer.

Other than them "feeling" pretty cheap/flimsy, have you had any failures or is it just design/functions that turns you off?  Just wanting to know what I may have to look forward to.

They seem to warp, lose their shape and are hard to close back together so that they don't leak. They are single wall construction, while the Hepco/Becker ones are double wall and hold their shape.

I have the smaller-sized Guzzi-badged Hepkos on my bike. The rack didn't come with much in the way of installation instructions but it wasn't that difficult to suss out.  So far, no rain leaks.

Givis survive 0mph drops quite nicely.  DAHIK.

I've been searching for Hepco and Becker mounts in the USA but have not found any yet.

The mailman just delivered my H/B racks yesterday, I ordered them from Germany.

I was just about out of patience waiting on them. The shipping company (DHL) they use does not deliver to rural/urban areas here in the states so they mail them once they are in this country. Will be installing them on my Breva and using my 30 liter H/B bags.

I just ordered HB side case mounts from Adventure Motostuff. They should arrive in 5-6 weeks. That should give me plenty of time to find a good deal on some HB bags.

I'm going to order a Givi top case mount and trunk. I just haven't decided which trunk to order. I'm leaning towards the E55. It might not look so huge with the HB side cases mounted.

I still like the stockers. Razz

As Dean as said, they're pretty much the same bag that aprilia uses.  We've used a set of them for 60,000 miles on our aprilia Futura and another 17,000 miles on our new-ish Breva..   And yes...they are interchangeable.

We've filled them up to capacity and have ridden thru all types of weather.   Plus they take about 20 seconds to mount or dismount....leaving a nice clean mounting system.

My HB sidecase mounts just arrived. It only took 7 weeks! Now if I can just find the time to mount them and the Laminar Lip I got a few weeks ago and I'll be ready to go.

Rdbandkab, I agree with you on the looks of the factory bags. They look great mounted and the mounting system is practically invisible with the bags off.
