BTW, if anyone's interested, Burbank Kawasaki has a brand new, never sold, 2005 ZZR1200 available.  I dunno how a 6 year-old model remained tucked away unsold for all this time, but I called them and they confirm its brand new. They want $10k for it.

I assume it comes with warranty and everything else.

I doubt someone would pay $10k - that's for sure.  I've seen a 2-3 year old new leftover VFR marked for like $3-4k under MSRP.

The other one had like 500 miles and asking price was $6k.  For only $4k more you can have one with zero miles... sucha deal!

Nope, different bike, different dealer.  The new one is in Burbank.  The used one I was looking at was in Escondido.

I forked out 10k - but that was out the door in 2003 for a 2003 model.

8 grand is what I think I'd pay if I were looking for one.  I hope the carbs are clean and the tires are fresh though.
