So Suzuki is offering "$1,000 Off" coupons on a bunch of models.  (Including the Bandit 1250s!)  Not sure how that works... do you walk into a dealer, negotiate your best price, then whip out this coupon?  Lol

Anyway, in case anyone was about to buy, here you go...

Not redeemable for cash....*

The problem is that their stuff is getting dated.  That said, my wife wants another Burgman 650, so I won't show this to her.   Lol

But my question is, is that over and above whatever crazy deal you're getting because the dealer is dying to get rid of a two year old machine?  If so, that would be huge.

The dealers are aware of the promotion and will probably bring up first. You won't be able to negotiate and then pull out the coupon for an extra thousand dollars off. No dealer is going to be caught off guard by this coupon.

My local dealer gave me a much better deal than that in December. I got a brand spanking new, 2010 GSX (Bandit) 1250 SEA (faired model with the luggage package) for 10, 299. The original price was 13499 or more, if memory serves me correctly. They then gave me a 4000 trade in on my 07 DL 640, that I bought used from them 2.5 years ago for 5000. Woot, I didn't need no stickin coupon.

BFD - this pretty much helps offset the huge price hike all the models had a couple of years back.   Rolleyes
