My bud just picked up a 2007 XB12R.  he hasn't ridden in a few years and asked me if i would bring it from the seller's house to his place.  naturally i said yes.  fun freakin bike but soooo tiny...i'll stick to my ulysses thanks.

only comment i've heard from him so far is it's torque-y.  he's used to riding 600 sportbikes.  yea...little better bottom end  Lol

That short wheelbase allows it to turn on a dime and make crazy small U-turns!  Great urban motorcycle too thanks to the torque and maneuverability.  Not bad in the highway thanks to the fairing.

Tell your friend congratulations.

I really like the firebolts and all the buells with the short wheelbase.

Congrats to a new Buell owner!

I used to think about a Firebolt Long.  Ss frame (same as the Uly) with a 'bolt tail and Fairing.  Angle would be wrong on the tail and would need adapting but maybe now the 1125 tail could fit closely.

Anyway I got used to the 'bolt and I wouldn't swap it.
