Well, my 1996 Yamaha Seca II has moved on to a new owner.  We've been together for 11 years and about 38000+ miles of smiles.  While the old girl wasn't my first bike, she was my first bike capable of doing any kind of real riding.  That Yamaha took me on my first sport-touring trips to the Smokies and the Ozarks.  I got my first speeding tickets on her.  I taught my brother and wife how to ride on that bike.  Regrettably she hadn't run properly for the last two years and so sat languishing in the garage while newer, more capable machines took on the role as primary transportation.

It took a couple tries on craigslist, but she finally sold.  I really was sad to see her hauled off in the back of a pick-up.  Silly, I know.  Hopefully, the guy gets her running.  Its his first bike and I told him if he wanted help learning to ride, to call me.  Maybe I'll get to hang around the Seca a little bit more.

A sad day, but at least the Seca will ride again.
