I'm pretty much a newb to bike communication, so here's my dilemna. The wife wants to be able to call me on the bike (which is why I ride so much... j/k, sort of). Anyway I've been looking at all of the different models out there but it appears they all require you to use and install their in-helmet speakers. I am solidly sold on my Etymotics ER6i earbuds and would rather keep using them on the bike. Does anyone offer a model that allows you to simply plug in your own speakers/earbuds?
As for the rest of the unit I'm really just needing bluetooth for the phone and an input for my ipod. Thanks for any suggestions and advice.
Sena SMH10 has a base plate that allows you to use your own earbuds, a great system also, as I and my wife have the Sena and she uses the earbud baseplate
