Hey Texans:

I have a friend in DFW area (Arlington) thinking about getting into riding.  He found this and is asking about it.

http://dallas.craigslist.org/dal/mcy/2226980643.html

I can only do so much from a distance.  Does anyone know this bike or live near enough that you'd be able to arrange showing up for an appt to put some motorcycle eyes on it for him?

Alternately, are you aware of any really good deals on really good starter bikes in the area like friends or family might have available?  Cheap is good.  He's quite short, like maybe 5'6" so prolly not a XR650 or the like  Smile

Thanks.

Best suggestion is to have him go look at it and look it over carefully. Generally you can't go wrong with a Yamaha.

The him in question doesn't know bikes and could easily overlook something expensive that doesn't seem like a big deal.
