 Seriously , it feels good to have not crashed.  It was a bit colder than I thought and the Avons are plowing horribly in the sand.
The trails are messed up with plenty of downed trees.
Hopefully I will do something stupid so these reports aren't so boring.

Yesterday's ride was just as boring.  For what it's worth i'm always almost crashing.

I found some spots that had been burned.  You can see how high the flames got.

I did try to be stupid by passing through one of those areas that is impassable in the summer.
LI has some pretty ugly swamps; the water is black, stagnant and smells bad.  These are fed from underground and are usually wet year round.  In a few weeks the mosquitos will come.
The mud is sticky and tried to swallow me.
