I have an awesome opportunity to do some traveling for work on my bike - and get paid milage to do it! I am in Iowa, and will be leaving from the Iowa City area, traveling to Burlington, Vermont. I will potentially have some work buds riding with me. Looking for good route suggestions that avoid the major slabs like 80 - want to avoid the major cities also. I will have 3-4 days to get out there. I'll be on my '97 VFR with GPS (Nuvi). What say you, oh wise STNers?  Bigok

There are two ways I would go about it.
On the way, cut south through southern OH, cut the corner of W.VA and into SW PA, up through mid NY to your destination.
On the way back, Spend a day each in NH, VT, and the Adirondacks and then slab it home

Interested in this one myself. Will be doing about the same thing in August from Central Illinois to the Concours Owners Group National.
