You got the best color.
But I imagine there will be some days when you miss those big jugs.
EDIT: And for the love of god, lose those Gixxer mirrors.

The Stelvio is one of the most fun bikes I have had in 40+ years of riding and she took me all over the lower 48 in great style and comfort. I just like to try different bikes ever 18-24 months.
When I bought my Sprint ST (06) I had considered the futura, but the Triumph deal came together first. The Sprint was great and I sold her after appx 23K trouble free miles. The futura is more comfy than the Sprint mainly due to the seat, but they are fairly close other than that as far as I can recall. This bike had a wonderful owner that added a gel insert, HID, ohlin shock and fork internals, upgrades to the electrical system and overall addressed the bikes "quirks". I love the handling (obviously the ohlins help big time) and after a day and a half of riding her home the long way (after a 400 mile cold/rainy run on the Stelvio), I had no bun burn and only the "normal" aches an old guy gets after 3 days of riding twisty roads regardless the bike
He included the OEM mirrors too

Good. The stock mirrors might vibrate a tad, but they match the lines of that years-ahead-of-its-time styling. The machine is aptly named. I'm convinced the boys in Hinkley used a RST as the template for the 1050 Sprint.
Oh, and did you forget to update your profile?

If I had a nickle for every time I almost pulled the trigger buying a Futura, I'd be a millionare!
Bob I'm like you, 18-24 months is max with the same bike. The funny part is it doesn't matter if it's the best do everything, best looking bike ever made, it's outta here.
Good luck with her.

The R now lives in GA
st2sam, thanks for the well wishes. I need to be a volunteer for someone like Jay Leno where I can keep the fleet well ridden, but until then, it's listen to the voices in my head
