OK... took the plunge.

I stopped at East Bay Motorsports this morning (Hayward, California) to look at a 2011 Black WeeStrom... and ended up purchasing it. If anyone is shopping in the area, ask for Joe (who rides his own 2011 WeeStrom) he's great. Smile

Now I just have to wait for the rest of my gear to come in (all 'net-originated), and I'll be picking it up.

Yum!  Bigsmile

even though your post is worthless without pictures... i have way too many manners to tell you that "your post is worthless without pictures."

however, i am sure someone will be along shortly to tell you that "your post is worthless without pictures."

congrats on the new wee...  Bigsmile

I sold my k1200GT and bought a wee a year ago and haven't looked back. It's a really fun bike and the cheapness to buy and maintain is a bonus.

Gratz on the new bike(s) Smile

Just picked up a DL1000 myself.  Wife has a DL650, so... we can swap whenever.

There are a lot of bikes I'd like to buy, but my problem is this darned Wee Strom is too good to sell. It's the most comfortable bike I've owned. The fueling is just about perfect, which I've never experienced before. It gets great gas mileage. It's fun on twisty roads, and I have a lot of those nearby. What I'd really like is a big touring bike and a supermoto, but the Wee is one heck of a compromise between the two.

If you need one bike, and you do a combination of touring and anything else (commuting, weekend rides in the twisties, etc.) it's really hard to beat.

To sum up: Congrats, I think you'll like it!
