i got 68mpg once on the speed triple! 70mph downhill for 200 miles in colorado in the rain.low fuel light came on at 208 miles Crazy i thought that the light had burned out

I've seen close to 60 mpg on my 919, but that was when I was riding behind my buddy on his Nomad.  When I'm alone, it is a much different story.



Wow, drafting a Nomad has that big an effect on your mileage?    Lol

And short shifting, never having a need to go over 3000 rpm etc.

Good stuff, I used to be able to get 50 on my 02 R6, but those days are gone.  Lately, the FJR is getting around 40mpg.

I was amazed to put only 2.75 gallons of fuel in my Bking after riding 111 miles.......that's a hair over 40 mpg.   That ride included several triple digit passes on two lane back roads with a bit of city stop and go.
