I just picked up a Bell RS-1 today.
It's like putting your entire cranium in a pussy.
I personally prefer em a bit smaller.

I have a Shoei XR1000 that someone gave to me, and a HJC of some kind that I got half price. Both are getting towards the end of their life so I am looking at the Shoei Qwest, or maybe that Shark Vision one.

I'm not wearing a helmet.
Why?
Because I am sitting in front of my computer and I don't wear a helmet for that.
For some people, it might be helpful to wear a helmet when reading ignorant postings from rude people in PO.

I've got a scorpion right now because I haven't found a helmet that fits me better. Never owned an Aria or Shoei though. My only gripe is that the EXO700 is on the heavy side. But, it fits great, flows air better than average and you can find them for really good prices.
My EX700 is the best fitting helmet I have ever had. Sadly, 3 weeks ago I crashed and that helmet needs to be replaced. It did it's job well, as I am here to write this. I was going to get another, but that the MotoGP, I tried on a Suomy Vandal, which fit my head as well, but weighted about a third less. If you look around, a solid color one can be had for about $50 more than the Scorpion.

I just bought an OGK FF-5 Akiyoshi rep- the same paint scheme as reviewed on 'webbikeworld', If you've got an Arai Quantum or Arai RX-7 RR series shaped head, then this is a great alternative. Excellent build quality, very comfortable, sized correctly, and easy shield removal.

Things changed. I found the EXO700 at closeout for $120. It was an offer I couldn't refuse, from Amazon. Besides, I loved my old one.
I always liked it in this color scheme too.

Has anyone tried an HJC IS-16, or another one with the built-in dark visor? I'm getting tired of carrying both visors around - seems a good solution.

I just ditched my IS-16 for a Bell RS-1. I don't miss the noise (IS-16 is very noisy) or the pressure headache across my forehead (weird, somedays it's fine, other days I can't wait to take it off), but I do miss the flip down visor. That thing is the shit.
I still wear the IS-16 to work (I have to head east in the morning and west in the afternoon) just for the visor. Luckily its a pretty short commute so the other problems don't turn up. The RS-1 is the best fitting/quietest helmet I've ever owned in 30+ years of riding.
Once you decide on features/price, after that it's one that fits YOUR head. YMMV.

Yeah, webbikeworld mentioned the noise ... I was hoping that the ear plugs would cancel it out a bit. Unfortunately, I haven't found shops 'round here with a large variety for trying on. I may take a trip to Philly at some point to check out Revzilla.

I own and wear Arai and Shoei. I had two Arai Astral-Xs but had to retire them due to age. They fit my head perfectly. During the summers I wore a Shoei X-11 because it flowed more air than the Astral-X. Now that the Astra-Xs are out of production I wear Arai Profiles 80% of the time and the X-11 about 20%.
On balance I prefer the Arais due to fit/comfort. Back in the Astral-X days Arai had some great graphics but in the last couple of years the Profile graphics are a little boring.
Wish they still had finishes like the Van Den Bosch and Yuki Red.

Started out with a Bell Star - graduated to Arai Super Vent, then an F1... But have been rocking Shoei for the last 15 years or so. Looking to pick up a Qwest...
