Coming for SBK and/or Vintage?

If both, preorder the combo ticket and just pick up at will call, it's the best deal.  Get the paddock pass as well.  Can order off web site for MO, but be cautious, it has been hacked and credit card info stolen before....happened to me about 6 years ago.  Can call the track direct at 1-800-midohio and order tickets just as easily.

Camping.....just north of the track at the resivoir is good place.  camping is available at the track, but no shade and can be " very interesting " to say the least.  Must be there early on Friday to get a spot for either weekend usually.  Mohican State Park is not to far away, and a nice ride to and from.  Will fill up early most weekends during the summer.

Places to watch from?   I've been on the outside of the esses for ears now after trying most other spots and it is my favorite for SBK hands down.  Lot sof shade, usually a nice breeze, easy access to infield over the bridge, and can use the north entrance for easy in and out.  The hill at the end of the back straight into the esses, in the infield, is very popular as well.  not shady though, so can be really hot in July.  You can watch from the balconies over the garages as well, we usually catch one of the support races from there every weekend.

IF you decide to get a hotel room...book NOW!  They will sellout for both weekends at ALL hotels anywhere
near the track very soon, if they have not already.  A group of us have been staying in Marion for many years now, and I've found it to be a great location.  Never stayed in Lexington, because the rooms are always gone a year of more in advance.  Any other questions, pm me.  I've been attending that track for over 30 years now.

The quietest campground is at Charles Mill Lk. county park campground East of Mansfield. Lights out at 11 PM sharp and patrolled. Everywhere else you can give up sleeping for at least 3 days! The camp is actually by Mifflin(riding S and East of there is great) and about 15 mins down I-71 to Lexington. Good fish fry at the local bar on Fri nite too! Have fun.

Thanks to all! Staying at Charles Mills was a great idea. Never found the fish fry place.... Maybe it's in Miflin. I got there real late Friday and the couple people I asked gave me that look.

Fantastic track!

Rough weekend for San Diego BMW Sad
