2 Stroke 800cc shoehorned into a zzr1200. Hmm.... Would you ride it? Hell, let alone buy it?

800cc two-stroke.. that would be brutal. I'd ride it (assuming the workmanship was good) - would not own it.

Seriously?
Stock 2003 Kawasaki ZZR1200
Transmission: 2004 “STD” HD 5spd Softail with custom mounting plate, relocated drain, vent and fill points
Weight: approx. 525 lb dry
Performance: +100 RWHP on dyno, Top speed:150-170mph
Just what I want is a 03 ZZR1200 that is heavy, has lost one gear in the tranny, and only has 100 HP

Of the criticism for the ZZR I've heard, lack of a motor is not one.

2-stroke ownership... I've done my time. NO thank you.
Didn't say I would own it, I did say I would ride it though. I will ride pretty much anything once.

Note: Successful bidder agrees to execute a mutually acceptable Agreement of Sale prior to transfer of title to buyer
I guess that proviso will include a statement that it is not the sellers fault if it blows up and kills the new owner.

It had plastic so therefore it was a crotch rocket. Just like my B12S and Breva Sport.

I'd prefer a CR500 engine in a GL1800 chassis. Seems a better fit.

The wife probably called it gone when the washing machine died from too much fecal matter being run through it.

I'd ride it, not sure why I would want to though.
I have two bikes that make an assload more power than that, the ZX weighs about the same, the Bandit weighs quite a bit less. I thought the point of a 2 stroke was good power in a
lightweight
package....

Not much action...
I think the ZZR had 155hp (claimed) stock (at the crank?)... I hope he didn't pull that out to put in a "100+ hp" 2-smoke unless the factory motor was toast. And how did he lose so much of the bike and still end up over 500 lbs dry?!!?
