Yeah, when did you get the MV?

Not quite 2 weeks ago....but the MV won't tour (somebody even try suggesting adding a god damn bag to it...I dare you!  Lol  ).  The Versys might be a decent touring rig, but I'd need to sell the Speedy.

This is ST.N. People will suggest insist on you mount Givi cases, a huge screen, really low foot pegs, a Russell DayLong seat, dirt bike bars, trailer hitch, shaft drive and, possibly, a third and fourth wheel to the MV.

I'll bet you can do even better than these prices.

My local dealer did close to 20% off my 2011 Ninja 1000, using $250 worth of factory dollars. Kawasaki is clearly putting allot more factory dollars on the table with this program.

I'm sure you could get better than that.  I got my 09 Versys last March for $6400 out the door (tax, tags, registration).  Dealer was advertising it for $7099 still.

The Versys might be a decent touring rig, but I'd need to sell the Speedy.

I bought a leftover new Versys last year for $5350 out the door, including sales tax, fees, everything. Added Givi hard bags, heated grips, hand guards, a few pennies worth of foam insulation to stop the fairing buzz  Lol and was still well under $6k, and it does make a good touring rig, at least the way I like touring. It was so cheap, I kept my old Speedy (not that I could probably give it away, at this point).

You could give it away to me...   Embarassment

You're pretty close - mind letting me know which Kawi dealear that was?  How difficult/easy was it to install the Givi's?  Have any photos?  I'd definitely need hard bags.

Clearly you can do much better.

Just got a flyer from Vetesnik in Richland Center, WI. They are running an open house special price for '09 Versys of $4999 for the next 3 weekends. That's $1K below the Kawasaki factory discounted price!
