Just thought I'd share this video that some guy did last weekend at Inde Motorsports Ranch for all the triumph lovers. An older gent riding a thruxton.  My gf called him santa claus because of his big white beard.  Watching from the race tower he had that thing humming along pretty well.  He was riding with the beginner group which, along with his skills is the reason I suppose some of the sport bikes didn't drop him so easily p.  Not the fastest way around the track but it looks like good fun.

My gf and I are sitting under the lowered canopy behind the mazda3 and the end. Lol

Cool video! Thumbsup That track looks like a blast to ride.

And the Thruxton sounds great, do you know if that's the stock exhaust?

The soundtrack almost makes up for any horsepower deficit  Inlove

Especially when ridden in real world conditions.

I'm guessing not stock since the stock Thruxton headers sound woefully docile. The aftermarket headers really transform the sound  Inlove

They might be though since he had the tachometer swung over to the right  Bigsmile

It is a blast.  As far as I could tell the exhaust appeared and sounded stock but I no nothing about what those bikes sound like.  It was not especially loud when he rode by my pit location.

I don't like loud exhausts but the stocker's are embarrassingly quiet.

Man, the Thruxton is such a great bike.  It's always been on my list.  If I only had room for one more in the garage!
