Wife and I are doing a two week trip this June (10 - 25) and are looking for suggestions and recommendations for hotels and/or motels along our route. We are looking for smaller boutique type hotels or unique motels (mom & pop type). Prefer to stay away from chain type hotels and motorcycle friendly is always a plus. We'll be slabbing it out west, GA to NM then head up to CO, WY, SD & possibly MT and then slabbing it  back to GA.

Here are some areas/cities we are looking for:

Amarillo, TX,
Jackson Hole/Yellow Stone area
Black Hills area
Glacier NP area
Cortez/Durango CO area
Glenwood Springs

We don't have a set route and will not be making any reservations but we would like to have a list of hotels/motels we could call. Also, any must see attractions/parks/areas and any must ride roads would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Everything in the Black hills area is M/C friendly due to the rally. Chains are probably better than mom/pops around here? If you stay in Rapid avoid anything on East North Street and you should be fine.

I always stay at the Ranch Inn in Jackson. Central location, walk anywhere, clean, and relatively inexpensive.
