Kool-Aid,  and I couldn't pass up this deal on a 2010 990 SMT!  Drool   It came with the KTM saddlebags which are not waterproof and the zippers are meh.  But hey I'll use them.  Unfortunately I've been working these past few days so I haven't ridden it much, but what I can say is WOW!!    Chili
I know this thread is worthless without pics so:

Congrats !!

Its pretty much has the same engine as your KTM Adventure,  but they bumped up the Hp(116) and torque(72Ft/Lb).  Fully adjustable WP suspension with,  radial mounted Brembo brakes and Marchesini rims. Also it only ways 191 Kg dry.
I haven't put many miles on it yet due to work has been getting in my way, but it is light,  very flickable Bigsmile and goes like a raped ape!!!  EEK!

You are probably correct about the price.  I can't buy one anyway; there are no dealers that have them. Rolleyes

The problem with the SMT is the price.

They're priced up around Multistrada territory around here.

We do have TWO KTM Street dealers here though.

Multistrada is 20k with Ohlins and the base model is $15000 isn't it?

Your very close.  I think the Multistrada S Sport with Ohlins is at least $21,000 up here in the great white north.  The money I saved even compared to the base model,  I think I can go on some nice trips and buy some cool farkles.  Bigsmile
