Got my new versys a couple weeks ago, painted the cowls around the radiator and the kick panels above the shifters to match the black, got some givi e21s for her too, I know its not anything super special but I wanted to show her off.

They're all special when it's sitting in your driveway! Congrats!  Hope you pack a lot of memories in those bags - or milk, diapers, whatever...

Nonsense, man. It's your pride and joy and you've every right to share the love !!!  Inlove

I too have just gone down the Versys route. I had to bring one over to Northern Ireland from Scotland last year, did 250 miles on it and knew at that point that I should have bought one instead f the FZS1000 that I'd bought two or three weeks earlier. It's such a fun motorcycle to ride and has plenty of practicality too for touring etc. I've only done about 400 miles on mine so far but I know just how good the bike is going to be.

I care what it costs and as far as I'm concerned, the less it costs the cooler it is!  Thumbsup

That's why I went the same route: Versys with Givi E21s. Given the prices on leftovers, it's about the best bang for the buck you can buy.

Lots of people with silver cowls look for someone with black who wants to trade, but painting works too. Faster, no doubt.

Enjoy.

thanks guys, i really love the bike, and the paint (krylon fusion satin black) actually matched some of the other flat black pieces really really well and im happy that i can touch it up whenever i want fairly easily.
