Jeebus that is a long time. Hopefully they're worth the wait.
Well, they'd said it would be three weeks (and that was four weeks ago), so they're only a week behind schedule.

My wife ordered hers on May 12, which was 5-1/2 weeks ago. Her latest emails have not gotten responses. Maybe there is a Mexican holiday.

Rince, interesting thread over on ADV.

Apparently the company has bitten off more than they can chew.......tremendous response on their offerings.
It seems the general consensus is that quality of these is not an issue.

Thanks that was funny to read to my wife what the son of the boot sellers said. It's a real mom and pop (and confused cobbler) operation apparently.

Today August 26 the Gasolina boots arrived, 3-1/2 months after ordering them. My wife likes them. They have an extra layer of leather at the ankles and toes. They are lined with smooth leather. I would say they are very retro looking and the feeling is softer where a modern sport touring boot is more rigid leather. My wife says they are very comfortable, "like an oiled glove." A modern sport boot offers more protection. These are the protection level of engineering boots. They are pretty fashionable, sort of steampunk.

That is a good looking boot and does your wife feel they fit true to the size?

The boots were handmade. She had to provide three measurement for each foot, so the boots are a custom fit, exactly right. She thinks they used baby cows because the leather is so soft, and she keeps raving about the smell. She took a trial ride and said the boots are very supportive.

I'd appreciate a LOT MORE pics. Ya know, in case the wife wants a pair
