My brother and his Harley-SOS

My brother Mike and I are passing through and now waylaid in Clayton New Mexico on a road trip. 560 miles yesterday. We noticed this morning his 2003 Road King has a flat rear tire and we are stuck. He has innertubes and wire spoke rims.  I'm on my Blackbird so all is well. If you can help or point us toward help call 816 365 2828.  Thanks for any assistance. We will pay reasonable and necessary expenses.


It snowed last night too so life is funny.


We were pulling out of the Best Western lot and he noticed the big HD would not roll back.

If you can get the rear tire off (thats a big IF, IE; no center stand) you can use the kick stand of the XX to break the bead then pull the tube patch it. Guess it depends on why it went flat.

Do an inspection of the tire, might turn out just a leaking valve core.

Don't know if this is feasible on your HD.
Many years ago I had a flat on a Honda 750 (spokes with tube) in the middle of nowhere Ontario.
With the help of a friend we were able to work one side off the rim, pull the tube out enough to install a patch, and rode it back to Memphis.
We did this on the side of the road without taking the wheel off the bike.
It was a rear and the bike did have a centerstand.
Breaking the bead was not a problem.
