Just throwing it out since this region is a bit dead  Lol. Looks like a great weekend for a Poudre Canyon ride - sunny and 70. Was thinking riding up to Walden for lunch, then back down the canyon and hit Stove Prairie on the return.  Was thinking a 10-11 am meet somewhere near CO 14 in Ft Collins. Any takers?

Will check maps.g later and see what I can find for a good meet up spot, unless anyone chimes in with suggestions.

The only place I recall of hand is the corner gas station where 14 splits from 287. Gonna stop there 10:30 - 10:00ish - anyone wants to ride/have lunch, you're welcome to join Smile

I'm thinking about it. I would like to go, but I dunno if I'll be able to make it. I'll post here, or meet you there if I can.

I'd join you guys if I weren't going to Moab with the Husqvarna this weekend

Rory & Justin, it would be good to see both of you again, been a while.
I'm afraid I don't spend much time here at ST.N anymore... I should check more often for rides like this though.

 Sad

I'll have to pass. My daughter's car broke down and I have to fix it so she can get to work. Up in Estes at the shop tonight and most of the day tomorrow...

Well, was just me and my lonesome - rode Poudre Canyon up to Walden - weather and roads were perfect, and hardly any traffic. From Walden, headed home via 125 to Granby, then over Berthoud pass to I-70 and home. There is still a ton of snow on the passes, I'm thinking there will be some flooding this year once the melt starts in full.

Some pics from Cameron Pass

Some pics from Willow Creek pass

Was a little chilly with the mesh jacket and no liner on the passes, but was nice after the heat down below. Berthoud pass is a mess, lots of cracks and frost heaves in the road on the North side that hasn't been redone yet.

I'm usually out riding every weekend (thurs-sat for me). I post up a lot more on CSC and meet up with a bunch of guys(and girls) from there and do distance riding, or any riding really, during the year. I almost went up the canyon this past sat, but it was getting late in the day when I hit 14.
