Concours 14 or Ninja 1000

Sorry for the many topics today.. Just trying to iron a few things out.. What are your thoughts on the two bikes? I'm usually not doing long distances, but really like a smooth, refined experience..
I'm a little worried about the size of the Concours being annoying, and making me hesitate pulling it out of the garage..
In addition I'm a little worried about the Ninja 1000, being too light and finicky.. I don't really have any basis for either of these fears because I haven't ridden either bike.. Because it's damn impossible to get a test ride here in S. Florida.
I do like to do some 2-3 hour trips once in a while.. (round trip). The occasional touring trip is there, but I do have a Road King for that if need be..
Any thoughts on the major differences between the two bikes?

^^^^there's a good option, and then there's a cruiser
Seriously though, they're fairly different options. In South Florida, I think the Connie would be the better choice. The only curves you guys have is taking a right-hand turn onto another road.

for florida, a ninja is wasted. for 2-3 hour trips, a concours is overkill. sounds like you need a zx14.
