Decided to post this to the gurus.

2 questions both clutch related.

Q1:  I've noticed that the clutch engagement/friction point on my bike is maybe in the last inch or so of fully releasing the clutch lever.  Is that typical or does it need adjusting?  Probably different on all bikes as it is in most standard cars I've driven, but wanted to ask.

Q2:  I've noticed at times, particularly on fast-off-the-line starts, 1st gear seams to spin up or lag between releasing the clutch lever and feeling full power at the rear wheel.  Is this what is referred to as 'clutch slip'?  What is it an indication of?  Doesn't do it all the time, and inconsistently enough that I cannot correlate the occurance to temperature/weather/time of day/etc....

Thanks!!!
