Sprint GT with Heated Grips?
«

I know there are a couple GTs around. Has anyone installed Triumph's heated grips. I had the dealer install mine and there is way too much slop in the throttle tube now. Not just the cables, it feels like the throttle tube is too big. The dealer is going to order another set to see if there's a difference but I'd like to hear from anyone else that has the accessory installed.
I found
this thread
at TriumphRat.net. It seems to describe the same issue on a bunch of Sts but nothing more recent and nothing on the GT.

My GT has the Triumph grips and no slop at all. They were installed by the dealer before I bought the bike but no issues.

I started to post about 'my different bike didn't have your issue', as I'm trying to get more into the S-T.n spirit. Then I stopped and made this useless comment instead.

Thanks for the reply. Any chance you'd be willing to take a pic of your grips for me? I'd also be curious to know how the wires are routed.

Thanks; I thought that at least I'd acknowledge my utter not usefulness to the topic.

Did they switch the throttle cables to run from the underside instead of the top?
