EOE: rattle can spray paint for FIBERGLASS fairings?

Well I'm just about done going through my new track bike with a fine toothed comb, and I'm thinking of repainting over the summer.
I'm some what familiar with the process for smoothing and filling body work, not good at just familiar. I'm looking for suggestions on what type of canned spray paint can handle the flexing of fiberglass without cracking or peeling off. This doesn't have to be a show quality job, but I'd like to change colors of the track fiberglass fairings.
So what to go with? Auto paint, enamel, rustoleum paint for plastic?
I'd hate to put the effort in and have it cracking/peeling a short time later.

Any one of the three will do. Rustoleum's plastic paint will be the easiest and look the least great. Auto paint will require the most work, but look the best for longest.
Heck- house paint applied with a brush will work too- but it'd be mighty crummy looking. I guess the next question is how good do you want it to look?

Well I'm not opposed to wet sanding and clearing, so I'd say a 7 of 10 or better is what I'd like to achieve. I'm thinking 2 maybe 3 colors no crazy patterns. I've painted 1 bike, a naked with smaller steel and plastic pieces, and color matched some luggage in the past. I'm just not sure on which paints may be too brittle for the flex inherent in larger fiberglass body panels.

I painted my Buell's belly pan with
Krylon Fusion
paint. No prep or sanding and it looked factory.

i am only a novice painter but this is an effect i was able to pull off, it is kinda like carbon fiber, but it only cost a couple cans of paint. i have a few other ideas to use as well. marbelizing etc, it can also cover up bad bodywork pretty good too

i can tell yeah but ya have to keep it between the two of us, i am patenting it,
what i did was spray it all black , then i used mesh drywall tape, 5bucks worth, and laid it all in one direction, kinda time consuming but not bad, pay attention to the strands and line them up as best ya can.
once their all on take silver and spray it keep in mind to do all the pieces with the same amount and steps you want it to be the same haha, what it comes down to is how you want it to look like, darker black darker silver etc, you will see what i am saying when ya practice,
when the silver is down lay another layer of tape the other way, in my case i used a grayer silver this time, then when that was done i used a little black and silver and misted it here and there,
then i untaped it and cleared it over, you can do a pretty big area and have it come out nice as i did my daughters hood on her 4x4.
here it is on curved peices, so it can be done on almost anything
i found a pic taped up so you can get a better idea,
keep flat black and tape parts of it off to create a two toned look,
heres what it looks like when ya use plastic bags to apply, bad bodywork this hides alot of sin imo,
i changed it to this though
remember to keep it on the downlow ok , its easy to do just time consuming is all, get some spraycans going and the time flys right by hahaha any questions just ask

Hang around here long enough and you will see that every member here is an "expert on everything"
hence the EOE.
Seriously though, phaze5 that is a very cool technique with the tape. A little more detail then I'm looking for in a track bike, but I'll be keeping that one in my back pocket to use down the road. Reminds me of the fishnet stocking snake skin pattern technique. That boat will be an awsome gift for your grandson too. Thats one lucky kid, nice work.
