So far, not so bad! It only has a bit of dirt in a couple of places but you'd have to really look for it. And I'm not nice to my gear -- I have no qualms about dropping gear onto the ground or shoving it into my Givi bag.

Question on ADVRider:
I'm hoping you can answer a question for me...after watching my husband easily stuff his Aerostich Darien overpants and jacket in his panniers at the fair today, I started wondering... How well will the Revolution fit inside a pannier for those times you don't want to wander around in public looking like a stormtrooper/astronaut/teenage mutant ninja turtle? Thanks for answering!
My Reply:
The Revolution packs extremely well - one of the reasons for this is the amazing Sas-Tec armor .
Here is the Revolution shown in the right side (uncut) Vario side case. The pannier is in its extended (full size) setting here which i believe is around 39 litres. Volume wise a little bit less than half the volume is left usable. (in the real world side loading cases are inherently more difficult to stuff and pack when on the bike)
Here is the Revolution shown in the left side Vario side case with the exhaust cutout. The pannier is in its extended (full size) setting here which i believe is around 29 litres. While the suit seems to fill up the whole case, volume wise there is some left and you potentially throw in some additional items. Fitting in this smaller case is extremely important because most panniers with the cutout wont accept a helmet - and a helmet cant be manhandled into a smaller case like the Revolution can.
apart from showing that the Revolution can fit inside most panniers, i think this also shows thats its about time i switch to top loading panniers.

$924 including tax, shipping, etc.
That's not bad at all to me--I have at least that much in 2 pairs of BMW pants that no longer fit and my 2-year-old leaky Olympia pants.
I was thinking Day-Glo or mango yellow, but that Ivory is awesome.
Lion lady--we'll see how it goes with 5'10" and 150 lbs. when I order mine.
Poof (and anyone else using the suit) do the legs ride up at all? That's an issue I've had with most pants, even when the knee armor stays in place.
And I'm really eager to hear about the rain. My Rallye jacket was waterproof, but tended to absorb a lot of water and get quite heavy.
Thanks for the back picture. It really illustrates how fitted the suit is around the thorax and waist; I am usually a size too big there to get the right sleeve length.

While we provide a zip out liner, i really recommend reading this article:
http://teizms.com/teizblog/2011/09/19/waterproof-jackets-and-liners/
In the article i have stated my opinion on waterproofing and explained why i prefer to use rain suits.
sleeve length wont be an issue!

A little bit, but just in the sense that any pants will ride up a small amount when you bend your knees and sit down. I'm sure you could send in measurements 1/2" longer than your actual inseam to compensate.

This suit is looking more and more tempting. I have some moneys coming my way for extra work and am seriously considering splurging (after I drop another 35 lbs - halfway there!)

How are alterations? I've been losing, and if I continue to lose (or gasp!) gain some back, can I get the suit altered?

Mostly alterations are not possible as the factory is overseas.
thanks for the review bluepoof!
