MS1200 mods complete
«

Well, I finally completed the mods I had planned for my bike.
They include:
1) MRA shorty dark windscreen
2) Ilmberger front carbon fiber fender
3) Shift Tech rear carbon fiber fender
4) Powder coated rear peg brackets and belly pan
5) removal of rear mud guard
6) Full arrow system
I am very happy with how it all came out. The exhaust doesn't seem to have adversely affected how the bike rides and I am happy overall with the fueling. It does seem to have hurt mileage though, although that could be due to the ECU update I received a few weeks ago too. Or it could be because I rev it all the time now just to hear it.

The belly pan really ties that whole powerplant together.
Is it true what they say about carbon fibre being addictive?

Thanks for the compliments!
Yea, I am really glad I decided to do the powder coating. It came out better than I expected.
The carbon is definitely addictive, especially when one of the vendors (shift tech) over at ducati.ms offers 10% discounts with free shipping for forum members. sorry, didnt intend that to come off as a plug. just convenient and plays into my addiction is all.
I will probably do the belt cover next...eeps! see, I am already doing it again!
no more mods for a year, no more mods for a year..

Where do you live? I'd love to hear that Arrow Exhaust System.
When I check the Arrow site they don't list a system for the 1200 Multi.
Does the system come with a removable DB killer?
Do you run the Ducati Luggage (saddle bags)?
I've read that some people who run the Termi exhaust and the Ducati saddle bags have had their R/H turn signal and licence plate/reflector area melted by exhaust heat.

I am out in the Kansas City area. I really wanted to hear the Arrow in person before purchasing but I couldnt find anyone around here with one. I am glad that I took a leap of faith on it. The system does come with a removable DB killer. I ran it in for a few days and then took it out. It is a large difference between leaving it in and having it out. Even with it in though it's more aggressive than the stock exhaust note.
I do run the saddle bags and the exhaust poses no conflict to that. I have read about the melting rear turn signals on the Termi andI dont forsee that with this exhaust because of the angle that it runs. The Termi appears to be pointed straight at the turn signals. Either way I will be sure to report back if there is any melting although I havent read of a single Arrow owner complaining about that.

One more recommendation. Reflectors be gone!

MUST get mine off the fork legs. It's One More Thing to tape up at track days.
I'd seriously like to get the MIVV cat-delete pipe, with a baffle in there. I really like the look of the stock cans, oddly.
