The driver of the PU does not represent even a small minority of the people out here......he is very much the exception out here.  For one thing, people are much more polite and civil to each other as the norm.  His behavior would not be tolerated by anyone I know out here.  One of the reason I love living out here.....people are nice and friendly.

Thats good know, its hard to tell how populated it is from the vid.

This is also the reason we moved out to southern Campbell County. We love living out here after living in Boone County!!

(I have had a couple of farmers that I know on 22 complain about some of the riders, but you are correct they (the ones who take it to an extreme) are the minority)

The stores do appreciate the extra money that comes in.

Latest news.....news article posted yesterday, the 8th, in the Maysville, Ky newspaper/website has the Sheriff of Bracken Co saying that a warrant has been issued for the driver of the pickup.  Also he is quoted as saying that he has clocked riders on this road, and ALL were going at or under the speed limit.  Did state that riders SEEM to be going faster when looked at by the naked eye, because they don't have to brake for the curves.

I'm shocked. The local gendarmes took the time to go out and radar riders on the road, as well as attempt to duplicate the legal speed via car. And THEN talk to the media about their findings.

OK, I'm not so much shocked that they'd go check the road for speeders, but that they'd talk to the media about not finding them.

Interesting that the driver of the truck is coincidentally 'out of state at this time' though.

He's past military, and he was arrested June 10th. Here's a link to the article:

What was the original word from the local LEOs? We aren't worried about the motorcyclists actions?

Quote
According to [Sherriff] Niemeier, officials are looking into whether to file any traffic citations against the motorcyclist, who is seen in the same video, crossing the center solid yellow line before and after the incident.

It's been a few days since I watched the video last but I only remeber them crossing the double yellow to pass the truck.  The Truck was back and forth over the double yellow MANY times though out the video.

Somewhere I had read he was US Army home on leave.

I fail to see how this is relevant in any way.
