Day ride around Charlotte
«
on:

My girl and I are itching to get out and ride this weekend. Anyone know of a nice day ride out of Charlotte that isn't too long? (She will be on the back of my RC51 and I don't feel like torturing her.) Ideally it would have a nice place for lunch on the route. Thanks in advance for any replies.

What kind of distance are you looking for? Lots of good roads in the triangle between Mint Hill, Concord and Albemarle. Day trips to Uharie Forest or Morrow Mtn are good if you're looking for around 150 miles round trip. Main issue for a good route in this area is lots of turns connecting the back roads. I can help if you're interested in more details.
Not many good places to eat that I know about in Albemarle. We usually stop at a Mexican Restaurant on Hwy27. There may be some good places, just haven't found them.
