I've seen them up close and still want one Smile Sure, they are like 1939 tech, built to the highest Russian standards, but that is part of the appeal. Look at HD's, they are 1930's tech as well, and they sell like hot cakes.

Harleys were redesigned and are quite modern but I'd hardly call them selling like hotcakes, Harley is struggling right now but its CEO, Keith Wandell, gave himself an $6.4 million dollar bonus for the worst sales in 12 years. (A familiar story). But this thread is about Urals. The Urals I saw last year in Washington, D.C. had very poor quality paint and welds and they were factory fresh and some of the brackets didn't even come close to fitting properly.

So basically, you're saying they're not for wankers who are afraid to get their hands dirty. That the BMW folks complaining about the latest tech gadget on their bike not working properly, and how they had to take it in for service 3 times to get it fixed will be completely incapable of suffering a machine such as this?

Kinda makes me want one even more.
