Kentucky Route 7: Any good?

This weekend I spent a bunch of hours plotting a six day ride to Deals Gap and back (from Pittsburgh). The return leg includes about 100 miles of route 7 (jct 15 at Isom on the south end to jct 711 near Leisure on the north end). It looks fairly twisty on the map, but I'm hoping to get some first hand info on what it's like or any better alternatives in the same area.

From Leisure to Salyersville is alright, nothing too tight but some faster sweepers. Not sure about the rest but I have been wanting to try it.

It's not bad. The design speed is 60 on the southern part. My only advice is "if you hear banjos go faster!"
