I'm looking for a replacement/improved tool kit to carry on my 2001 Sprint RS.

I was looking at the Cruz Tools EconoKit M1/M2.

Any one with any opinion on the quality and substance of these kits?  Never saw one or held one.   And I can't find size specs on their site.  Certainly am looking for something that'll fit under the seat.

Any other suggestions...will be well-received.

 as I also am looking for a tool kit. Seems Triumph doesn't deem it necessary to supply their Thruxtons with a kit  Thumbsdown

hey jack...thanks for the tip...I'll check that out too.   I've been here all along.   Just that "touring" had taken a back seat for awhile to other things.  Still riding, of course, just been those of a couple hour variety for a while.   Still ride that one route you took me on one time....red belt...conway-walrose...989.....528...portersville...evans city...franklin road....

Son's off at college now....so though I'm working a lot..not so many soccer and lacrosse games anymore.

I'm sure I'll run into you out there some time!

I had a CRuz Tools set made for a specific bike, and the quality was a touch better thn needed for occasional roadside events . . . . .

I save a bunch of folks some filthy lucre by listing the contents, letting them source stuff piece by piece from Craftsman, Kobalt and the like . . .. .

which is what I'm doing to replace the stock set that came with the Tiger (and augment it a lil) . . .

they are not bad quality, mind you, but you are paying full retail for letting someone else pick the tools for you

Bomber...

I'd be interested in what you carry....I'm all over the map sometimes...trying to carry everything one minute...and "just the essentials" the next.

I know I just need emergency repair stuff to carry...but then when I'm on the road...sometimes I do routine maintenance as well.

So I'm looking for a do-it-all that fits under the seat.   I guess that's why I pay a premium for the kit.  Presumably they're designed to fit together in a case/bag and take up the least room.  Piecemeal not so much I would think.

You should not to carry tools kit on your bike.  It adds weight and subtracts from your fun.

If your bike is in sad repair get these done before you ride and be happy.
