I'm in for Sunday.

Provided it's not as cold as the Cabin Freezer ride in February.  Brrrrrrrrrrr.  Last time Dinolee organized a ride it was about ten below zero.

Oh, right, "Cabin Fever".    Bigsmile

Getting my bulletcam set up again.  Assuming I can fix whatever's gone wrong with the camcorder, y'all are going to be famous.

Look at the camera!  Love the camera!  Now do "Blue Steel."  No, not "Magnum," it's not ready yet.

10 below... BAHHHH, it was only 2 below, drama queens...  Lol  I just remember shivering, even with all the electrics on, and the volt meter running right at 12.1 charge.  EEK!  Stupid viffer charging systems.

Weather report looks promising, dare I say without jinxing it... "dry".  Looking forward to burning off the rest of my Dunrock D220's, so I can get some Man Tires™ the weekend after.

Highway 20 is slated to open this Thursday!!

Look out fishing season, the pass will open this week.  All those anglers who were hoping for the pass to open in time for fishing season will get their wish. Crews are ahead of schedule again and will open the pass Thursday, April 26th at 2 p.m.

Lets do 20 on the way there or back.

There, fixed it for ya!

Alrighty... ummm... need to think about this for a second.  We've got some people (well, Dave) planning to meet us at the junction of 2/97 that morning...  So, we'll have to do 20 on the way back.  So, with the big LOOP, it's 500+ miles.

I guess we'll be democratic about this, same route as before to Coulee, and those who want to do 20 on the way back, will do so.  Those who don't, can back track after lunch to highway 2.  Honestly though... who really doesn't want to do 20?!?

What? Crazy Thumbsdown
We need to see that new bike, especially since we are not going even near the "Corner of Doom" Bigok

Take some Theraflu for the next few nights (nasty poop, but it works) take some of that EmergenC( 1000mg vitamin C, plus a bunch of other stuff) 2 times a day until your better. Thumbsup

Every time I feel a cold coming on I take that EmergenC stuff and it wipes it out before it starts, and makes it go away faster. You can find it at your local Vitamin stores.  I buy it by the box.

Come on...You Can Do IIIIIIIITTTTTTTTTT........ Smile

I might come back Hyw 2, I don't know.  I'm looking for the cleanest/driest roads myself.  Predicted chances of snow in the passes and East slopes through Friday night.  Not sure if 20 is open enough for me this time of year.  What do you think, I have a dual sport?  Just cause my bike has GS in it's name?  May have to save 20 for later this summer.  I've been over it numerous times.  If I do come back on Hwy 20, I might turn off at Rockport onto SR 530 to SR 9 and down.

But the weather does still look clear for the weekend!

I might want to cut north at 97 to shorten the day.

Wouldn't that leave out the part of "eating lunch in Grand Coulee" out of the picture?  Headscratch

Ride West carries Gerbing stuff.  I also have 2 or 3 extra battery harnesses with the co-axial plug.  Let me know if you want one and I'll figure out how to get it to you before Sunday.

I think you would be better to do 20 on the way home instead of early in the morning, less chance of ice.

Not a bad idea except for the possibility of ice in the morning on 20, as mentioned before.
