loading up the FJR and headed to Eureka Springs for four days of sun and fun on the Arkansas roads and mountains with another rider on an FJR.

Weather looks good with sunny skies and little to no chance of rain.

Route plans include these highways - 7,16,23,27,43,74 and 125 and 160 in Missouri.

Ride report to follow. Twofinger

There is a restaurant downtown E.S. ( opposite the tour bus station ) called
"The Local Flavor" that has some of the most amazing food I've ever eaten.

If you haven't been to Arkansas and you have a half a tank of gas and see a gas station fill up. I know this from experience. I went 58 miles with the fuel light flashing on the FJR. When i found gas i had under a gallon left. There are no gas in any of the small towns.

Also make shire you have fresh tires on. those roads will eat up a tire fast.

thanks for the tip on the place to eat downtown - we will try it.

Been to Arkansas at least a dozen times and am familiar with the long stretches of road with little or no traffic and even less gas stations.

The FJR has a nearly new set of BT-023s on it so I am ready to rock....
