Hi guys,

From region 1 here (Vancouver, BC). I'll be riding to the National in Custer starting the 10th. I was just wondering if anyone had been through Lolo or Chief Joseph Passes recently? They are on my proposed route, and I don't want to run into any surprises. Has the weather that way been good, getting better? Thanks in advance for any information you can share.

This:  http://www.coloradodot.info/  is fairly accurate.  (We try, anyway.)

It's June and everything should be open.....

Well Oxblood, if you get into Colorado, you're doing it wrong.  Lol

I rely on http://www.mdt.mt.gov/travinfo/scripts/rdrpt.pl?rptname=Detailed&box=No for the latest info.  Right now it says MT43 Chief Joseph) is open and US 12 (Lolo) is wet.

Well,  if you see a Blue XX pulling a one wheeled trailer, make sure you say Hi, we'll compare routes to Custer.

Instead of heading through Missoula, N. of Lolo, head South, about 1/2 up in Sula, Mt is a general store, serves great breakfasts, and has nice camping,  we're hoping to be there Sat night, using one of their Mini cabins.  ($45.00)

Both Lolo and Chief Joseph were in great shape.  I had Chief Joseph to my self. Smile
