I just assumed deer died by getting hit by cars. I did not know they actually die in the woods. Shrug
This one was odd though; it was in a clearing at teh end of a trail.  Maybe someone dragged it back there?  I did not see an arrow but bullets would not be easy to spot.
I hid the leg and plan on taking it when nature finishes the decomposition proccess.;  Still a bit too much stinky meat and nasty bugs on the bones. EEK!

We received a lot of heavy t-storms the night before.  The water ran down this hill:

I like this shot because it looks like the forest ends and the jungle begins at this very spot.  Wierd.

I find bones all the time.  I've assembled quite the collection.
Among my favorites is my empty Eastern Box Turtle shell.  Try to find one of those in the woods. Wink
