I camped here on Friday Night

I had this whole section of the Canyonlands To myself.  Just me and the snake, and about a million bats and some bugs. And that's all.

I love off the beaten path camping.  Campgrounds are bleh (even though I spend a fair amount of time at them lol) other than they usually have running water and what not but to get out where no one else is around is truly a nenjoyable time.

Seems like it could be challenging if wind picked up, no?

If the wind picked up, you'd have to be in your tent or it would blow away. On the plus side, you could see where it went easily enough.

Is that the BMW you had the frame/engine case problem with ?

The same bike.  I got that sorted out - it just took time and patience.  It seems to be running as strong as ever now.

The best part was when I jumped my bike across the canyon.  Of course, there was no one there to see it.

Seems I missed some posts here.    That was in Canyonlands Nat'l park.  White Rim Trail.  The overlook, it wasn't a campsite, just a place I was able to get my bike before I couldn't go any farther except down.

There is a huge cliff there, I managed to finish peeing before anything hit the ground.  Awesome.
