no, no free sandwiches, no tuna melts. (at least i don't think so). this is BETTER!!
Hot Tuna, the blues/rock spinoff of Jack Cassidy and Jorma Kaukonen of Jefferson Airplane fame (1960's +, for you younguns) will be playing a free show at Howelson Ampitheatre in Steamboat on July 1, Friday evening. Show starts around 5:ish, HT probably closer to 7, i would think. http://my.steamboat.com/events/electric-hot-tuna-part-of-the I have reserved a campsite at Dumont Lake, top of Rabbit Ears pass, just off of US40 (makes the late night return to camp easy to locate & navigate). I (am fairly sure that I) can take an additional tent on site with me (i paid $21, will share it for $10), and there are 3 more sites still available at this time- go to recreation.gov to register if you want your own. Will head up on 14/40 Friday afternoon (check in is post 2pm), head back down on Sat (checkout is 11am), but could easily get talked into taking a loop up over Battle Pass in WY to diversify the route.

Joe isn't that old yet, he gets along just fine with his walker.

Hmm, this sounds like it may be fun, and I have a small tent that should fit with yours. I'll let you know for sure if I am in or not.

HUGE fan.... Jorma was the man when I was starting off playing in the late 60's.

Live at the Boarding House is a disc I still play a lot, (and play along with to the extent I can)

Double bummer for me as I plan on riding out to Colorado from NJ in September so I'll miss this one and He will be playing in Chatham NJ in September, about 10 miles from my house. I saw him about two years ago and he's still got it.
