When and where to ride Arkansas

Was just wondering what you guys thought the best time of year was to be riding in arkansas was. a buddy and myself are just starting to plan a trip there and will be bringing street and enduro's with us to ride and were looking for suggestions as to where to stay and base the daily trips out of. are base camp will be an RV, so rv parks or even lake camp sights would work.

How immune are you to intense heat and air so thick with humidity you could spread it like butter on a biscuit?  If the answer is "not very" then you need to avoid the south during the summer-June/July/August/early Sept.  The best time would be spring or fall.  Both the spring week and the fall week are splendid with crisp air and mild temperatures.

just don't enjoy riding in hot weather, just takes all the fun out of it. was thinking more along the lines of middle to late sept. time frame

october is probably best. we have based out of talihina state park (which is actually in oklahoma by a few miles). it has rv camping, you can ride the talimena drive, or go straight into the trails from camp. google talihina state park and/or talimena drive for more info.
