Anybody else gonna be there?

Me and a buddy are leaving our Friday morning and taking the long way from Savannah to Blue Ridge MC campground, going through Highlands NC on the way  ;D

Saturday we plan on riding to Hot Springs then up to Shady Valley TN then winding our way back to BRMC.  Not sure about Sunday but we are not coming back until Monday   Smile

Weather looks to be great

Question about Shady Valley TN.  Looking at it on the map is it better to go north of SV or south or both.  Enquiring minds want to know  Smile

I've been twice recently, love the place.  We went 209 to Hot Springs to 208S then 212 turns into 352, then right on 19W to 19E to Burnsville, hit 80South to BR Parkway, ride BRP back past Mt. Mitchell back to campground.  Great route, but pretty much an all dayride.  Also, higher elevation then heading toward Tn, so much cooler. Bigok

Thanks for the info, I am looking forward to cooler temps for sure.  We are talking about staying off the BRP on Sat of a holiday weekend, afraid of too much traffic and we don't play well with crowds of slow folks  Bigsmile
