Just clocked 100,000km on my 04 Bandit 1200 a few days ago, somewhere near Spuzzum BC.
Regular servicing (by me), oil changes every 5000km, and only ever used Castrol GTX motorcycle oil. And still running beautifully.

Cool
I thought I was doing well with the 64,000km that I've put on my KLR. I've got a few more rides to do to catch up to your accomplishment!

If only you had just the KLR... and not a garage full of bikes.
As for me my 04 FJR has something over 200,000.
Will I ever see 64,000 on my WR250? I don't know.... I just don't know.

I have three bikes, total mileage is 140k km, if that counts. Of course, one of the bikes is missing a bit of piston and con-rod, but that's the one with 80k on it.

Still need about 15,000 km to hit that mark on my Viffer. Will post pic when I rollover. Wait, there's no rollover on my digital odometer. Anyway, give me a couple of months. Less than that if I go play in BC in July.

I always thought my Triumph and I would hit that milestone. Sadly about 14,000 km short. Thought it is still around town but the guy who bought it is not a touring rider.
I am already at 40,000 on my KTM so I should be there in about 2-3 years or sooner if my big ride ideas come together ... shhh.

Sigh. "Big ride ideas" never take place on the east coast. At least not from people who are on the west coast
BTW - my BMW has 83,000 on it (that's well over 100 kilmeters) and my KLR has 76,000 on it. A good portion of those miles took place north of the border. Does that count?

... but the Cow Lake Highway, for speed and Riverbottom road for fun could do that to a guy ...

Bubba Z, the highway and Riverbottom are just appetizers for the new "Loop" route which starts at Mesachie Lake
and runs the old logging road to Port Renfrew.....but it's all been paved now! Makes a nice 3 hour ride with lunch

Ya, we rode Lake Cowichan. Really disappointed with that one. Though I'm pretty sure we didn't actually get to the interesting bits. But then Rob made up for it the next day taking his 'shortcut' to the Sydney ferries and through Hwy 20 in the North Cascades

Well if you'd ride instead of repair and heal, you'd be able to keep up.

Heading to Nelson, BC in Aug, hope that qualifies!
Oh, and oddly enough, only the motor, wiring harness, gauge cluster and rear subframe actually have 76,000km on them.
The rest of the bike? Who knows?

Hwy 20 is on my list. Hope to ride it this summer on my way south.
Sorry about your disappointing ride on the island. If there's a next time make sure you make some time for a trip to Gold River or Tofino or to do

Hwy 20 is in my top 10 rides of all time. Make sure you stop at Diablo Lake down by the bridge, and again on top of the lookout.
I did both Tofino and Gold River this past September. The ride to Tofino is nice, but it's more symbolic than a must ride, I spent about an hour wondering around and through the McMillan Catherdral Grove - awesome!. The Gold River ride though, now THATS a ride, even in the rain!

Thanks for the tip re hwy 20. Sounds like I won't be disappointed.

That run is more about the scenery than the road, though it is quite nice. Don't blow past the very small look out for the dam on the Skagit River. You'll know it when you see it! If you stop in Winthrop at 3 finger Jacks (?) ask for Deanna

And keep your speeds down in the small towns/building clusters on the west side of the pass (specifically Newhalem and the stretch of road just west of it). They don't have a lot of industry in the area and rely on the generosity of passing tourists to fill their coffers
However, once you're out of Newhalem, the road is splendidly fun
Also, watch for the stop at Liberty Pass (it'll be on the left, about 30 miles after the Diablo Lake lookout). It's worth pulling off and walking out to the lookout

Is that the one that overlooks the Sawtooth Range?

The Sawtooths are in southern Idaho. Liberty Bell pass (pictured) is in the northern Cascades in Washington. In otherwords, no

ha! No, nothing like that. Just a really good looking friendly local who I met in the bar having dinner. Her friend however looked like she has spent A LOT of time in the bar over the years and most probably IS something like that.

My '02 BlackBird has 167,200 kms. Mostly touring miles. I don't commute and now I'm retired I hope to add some kms. However, the weather man has other plans.

1995 VFR750, 156Kkm - bought new in '96. I did the first 100K km in 8 years, but only 56K km in the last 7. I used to ride year round when I lived in Vancouver and commuted to work. But now that I live in a small town I've become a fair weather rider. No commuting and great roads are just around the corner so my riding quality has gone way up.

My old FJ11. 160,000 on the clock before the chain came apart, grabbed the starter, and ripped it out of the block.
